Visitors at the holiday is always so much fun. I know it’s a whirlwind while they are here, but looking back I really enjoy all the fun things we get to do together and the memories we create. In mid December Mike’s Dad and step-mom came out from California and boy did we have fun.

Paquette Tree 2015We made a point to wait to get our tree so they could be a part of the fun. Last year I didn’t get to pick out the tree with the kids so I really wanted to do it this year. Walking around the tree farm on a gorgeous 70 degree day in mid December is crazy, but it was wonderful. We all wore fun Christmas hats and I had the honor of picking out the tree this year.

Paquette ChristmasWe also like to do Christmas when we’re all together so we had a lovely dinner and open gifts. Eleanor got a Micro Scooter and because it was so warm she was able to test it out immediately. Camden hit the jackpot with a Paw Patroller and his smile was all we needed.

Hansome Cab RideSince they came in from California of course we had to venture into the city. They made a trip to Macy’s Santaland and I met them in Central Park for a bucket list item of a Hansom Cab ride, aka horse and carriage. Fact: They can’t allow more than 5 people (3 adults and 2 kids) on the ride.

Paquette Christmas 2015Overall it was a great weekend with wonderful memories and fun.
