If there’s something that will always baffle me it’s how quickly the years go by. It was just 4 years ago that I remember heading into the hospital eating a Dunkin Donut knowing I would get to meet you.

Happy 4th Birthday CamdenThis past year has been a pretty awesome one. As you grow taller, quicker and funnier the one thing that is constant is you still love to snuggle and dance. Watching you bust a move is too cute and you’ve got great rhythm.

The year has been a lot of learning. You talk a lot and we get a big kick out of the funny things you say. You can spell your name, count to 20 and have started to learn how to write. School has been so great and you really are learning how to be a good friend, to listen and play.

You favorites:
Green is your favorite color.
Paw Patrol is your favorite show and toy. You love playing with all the pups, Rocky is your fav because he’s green, and we love watching you imagine them saving the day.
Cheese is still the number one thing you want for a snack, meal or to sneak from the fridge. You also love carrots, bread, strawberries and anything from the candy drawer and lets not forget your Crazy Vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles.
Movies: Big Hero 6, The Lion Guard, are the 2 you request the most
TV Shows: Paw Patrol, PJ Mask, Rescue Bots, Dinosaur King
Songs: Timber (it’s going down!), Honey I’m Good, Uptown Funk, Shut up and Dance with me and Whip Na, Na! These are the ones you request the most for dance parties and you love to sing along.

I think the biggest thing I’ve noticed is how hard to you want to try. You’re always trying to do what the older kids are doing and working to figure out how to be a part of the group. You love your sister and play well together. Your hugs are so strong and heartfelt.

The thing that’s most special to me is our nighttime routine. When I sing to you and then ask “Who loves your?” and you say Mommy and Daddy. It’s one of my favorite moments of the day and I cherish that time with you.

I’m looking forward to seeing what 4 has in store for you and can’t wait to be along for the ride. Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!
