I know I haven’t been as great with the monthly update as I would like. Life has been busy and I would much rather be in the moment and enjoying all the fun things you’re doing, but here’s a quick run down of all you’ve been up to Camden.
You are such a happy boy. Always smiling and laughing. When you laugh really hard it’s a mix of laughs and panting and it’s too cute. The person who gets the most laughs out of you is your sister. You are also such a snug a monkey, you love to nuzzle up and give great hugs.
You are always on the move and getting around so fast. You still army crawl, and I think that’s just how your going to crawl. You’ve been pulling yourself up onto things and pushing things around for a while which means you’ll be attempting to walk soon I’m sure.
When it comes to food you are a bit of a picky eater. There are days you love what I make you and then the next day you won’t have anything to do with it. We’ve tried everything from homemade, to packet food and even solid peas, pasta, ect. You still nurse and are starting become a little stinker with biting. We went to the doctor today and you weighed in at 17 pounds and are 28 1/4 inches. You’re wearing some 6 months and some 9 month clothes right now. You’re not a big hat wearer, but I’ll get you trained soon!
You have some favorite things, especially a crocheted blueberry that you like to chew on. You love to put everything in your mouth, and that drives us crazy. You love your snug a monkey and it’s very funny because you like the toys your sister was never too crazy about, the drum, and the elephant rocker especially.
Words are not something you’re into. We try to get you to talk, but you’re a quiet boy who would much rather smile and laugh at us, but you will occasionally give da da das.
Sleep: I would love for you to sleep through the night, but it’s just not your thing. You go to bed around 7:30 or 8 and then wake-up between midnight and 1am and then again around 4 or 5am. We do get lucky and sometimes you only wake up once, but a full night would be nice to have. Please!
Nicknames: You’re Camden Boy to me and Eleanor, i also will call you Buddy Boy and Cam.
Most importantly you are a joy and with this month being November I am thankful for you and the love you have given me.
