This week I’m sharing a #ToyTuesday toy that really keeps things together. What is it? It has magnetic power, it has magnetic magic it’s no other than Magformers.

I was provided with a Magformer 30 count rainbow set and the kids immediately set to work on building when I gave it to them. They looked through the idea book and decided they wanted to make a rocket. The magnets in these are serious. If you get them even a little close they will stick, which is great for little hands, and helped to really teach them to be careful. They come in 2 shapes a square and triangle and it’s pretty impressive how much you can do and create.
The kids played great with these, they worked together and shared ideas on where to put rocket boosters, or that they needed someone inside to steer the rocket. I loved watching them interact and have fun. I like that this set has 2 colors to each piece. Teaching the kids to mix and match with style and pizzazz.
Building these up and then seeing if they would withstand the weight or crumble. The laughter and joy when they realized they would just make something else was so perfect. We also love figuring out what we can do differently to make it work better. Problem solving and getting creative is a big bonus for me.
This is a toy that helps them to learn about magnets, building, imagination and creativity. I also really like that it can make 3D objects like a ball or sphere. As the kids get older these will grow with them, and they are pretty easy to store since they stick together so nicely. I can’t wait to see what else the kids build with Magformers.
Good news for you I’ve got a set to giveaway to one lucky reader! So make sure you enter today. US entries only. Must be 18 to enter. Giveaway ends Wednesday, December 9th at 10pm EST.
