Do you know someone having a baby in the winter?  My sister-in-law is due in late April, but I was hosting a shower in early January.  Hence the theme Baby, It’s Cold Outside- Baby Shower!  This was also no joke on the day since the shower was in Minnesota and it was 6 degrees

The sign is a cookie sheet painted with chalkboard paint, and had been used so many times and for so many occasions.

I made tons of snowflakes (with the cricut) to have a little snowflake mobile hang from the chandelier.  It also helped to have the snowlady right underneath for the center of the table.

Snowflurry punch- It’s just Welch’s white grape juice and sprite and I froze little marshmallows to give the snowflake affect.

Baby it's Cold Outside Hot Cocoa Bar

Baby Shower Hot Cocoa Bar

What would a winter shower be without a Hot Cocoa Bar?  We used a croc pot for the cocoa and whipped up some homemade marshmallows the day before.  Delicious and a fun way to add some extra snowflakes!

Baby Shower Quilt

Something Special.  We asked all the guests to take a square and do something special with it.  We’re going to have it turned into a full size quilt that she can use.  We told the mom-to-be prior and she went with us to pick out the fabric so we knew it would be something she would love.

Baby Shower Favor

For the favors we gave snowflake cookie cutters and some cotton candy.

I used a tension rod to hang them in this little area and it worked perfectly in displaying them and adding some extra decorations.

Baby ShowerOverall it was a perfect shower and I was so happy to help celebrate my future niece!
