When it comes to baby showers. One of the best presents you can give is diapers, so why not give them in a fun and adorable way like this DIY Snowman Diaper Cake!

Snowman Diaper Cake

I hosted a baby shower for my Sister-in-law with the theme Baby, It’s Cold Outside. It was a January shower and I wanted to make a diaper cake that worked with the theme and decided a snowman/lady would be a cute centerpiece for the table.

-Diapers
(I used size 2 and about 60 total)
-Rubberbands
(I bought these from the $1 bin at target, they are for the rainbow looms but work perfect)
-Ribbon
(get a thick one, I used white, but you could do a color)

Step by Step Snowman Diaper Cake Instructions

1:  Roll diapers and band them
Tip:  It’s best to start from the top down

2:  Lay the ribbon on the ground and start to stack the diaper tightly
My rows went:  6,7,7,6,5,4 for the bottom.

3:  Tie the ribbon tightly so diapers don’t fall out
Tip:  you may want another set of hands to help hold or tie

4:  To make the top do the same as step 2.  I added some extra ribbon to make the bow for the snowlady, but you can just knot it off.
My rows went:  5,5,5,5,4

5:  To connect the 2 I tied the bottom base ribbon to the top and then put some double sided tape to secure it even more.

To add the face I just cut out some eyes and a nose and little snowflakes for the buttons, but this is where you can get super creative.  You could add a pacifier for a mouth, or little socks for eyes, or spoons for the arms.  I did knit a scarf for it, and the baby can use it.  I was going to make a hat, but that didn’t work out.  The possibilities of personalizing this are endless.

I would say it probably took about a half hour to make it, but it really adds a wow factor as a gift.
