Earlier this week I had the opportunity to attend the Mom Trends Festive Holiday event in NYC.
This was my 1st Mom Trends event and I have to admit I was a little nervous, but from the second I walked in the door I was greeted with warm friendly smiles and some amazing bloggers and sponsors.
The event was hosted at the Roberta Roller Rabbit by Roberta Freymann store in Tribeca. If you’re unfamiliar with her I strongly suggest you check out this store, there are some amazing items. I fell in love with the hand painted ornaments, and when I learned about her 7ft long beach towel in adorable prints and that they are oh so soft, I immediately added it to my wish list. It may be November, but this beach girl likes to plan ahead! Plus look at Nicole Feliciano, from Mom Trends, modeling that dress, earrings and adorable bag. She pointed out it would make a great teachers gift. Genius!!
While there I got a beautiful fishtail braid from Glamsquad.
They are an on demand service that will come to your home and get you ready, whether a blowout or a stylish braid, their belief is women should spend less time en route and that getting ready should be relaxing, not taxing.
I really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful arrangements Teleflora brought. They also had some great tips for holiday decorating and where to focus.
- The front door
- The mantle
- The table
I also loved seeing all the adorable containers. I mean a snowman cookie jar that will arrive holding flowers. Too cute and you now have a cookie jar for future years. It’s like the 2 for 1 gift!
I’m so excited to decorate our house for the holidays!
Welchs‘ was also represented and I loved learning about some of their products. The one that really caught my eye was the 100% juice fruit freezer pops. I know my kids will gobble these up in a second, and they also pointed out that adding their juice to their frozen fruit with some yogurt makes delicious smoothies.
As I walked around mingling and sipping on Anna Sparking, Spain’s leading bubble, I enjoyed wonderful conversations and got some great tips and ideas for the holidays. What a great way to gift wine as a gift!
My favorite thing was the Fruit of the Loom Santa! He was decked out in head to toe and I had to share with them my photo of Camden’s Halloween costume, it was a cut up Fruit of the Loom sweatshirt to look like Captain Hook. Here I am with Santa, Baxtron Life and MommieDe!
This was a great event and I walked away with some great holiday ideas and a little more knowledge of what and who are in this great city. Thanks so much Mom Trends, for a fabulous and informal event.
Have you started your holiday shopping yet? What’s on your wishlist?
*I was not compensated for this post, but I did receive a gift bag!
