For the past 3 years in the middle of July I’ve attended Blogger Bash. A blogging conference that kicks off with Sweet Suite and pulls out all the stops, and in 2016 totally rocked the boat. Literally as we boarded the Majesty on Pier 81.
Our morning started off with the Care Bears Brunch where I learned they are celebrating 35 years. Funshine Bear was there to help remind us that Share your Care day is Friday, September 9th, 2016 and we all took the pledge to be Care Bear Ambassadors. I’m excited that they’re making 2017 the year of the Hug, and there will be some big and exciting news coming for Care Bears!
Blogging Concentrated was on hand to give us tons of info about blogging and I walked away with pages of notes and very excited to make some changes to my site.
My favorite event was Sweet Suite, click HERE to ready about it. I will say that I’m ready to start planning the holiday gift guides for you!!
Day 2 started off early with a Kate and Mim-Mim breakfast and listening to the creators say they would regret not seeing this dream through reminded me that if you believe in something you should pursue it.
Babypalooza was filled with some great new and fun things for both babies, kids and adults. I loved seeing that Dolphin Organics is branching out into an older line and can’t wait to test our Do Naturals. I loved babywearing so I was happy to see Baby K’Tan has a new active wrap that was so easy to use I wanted to borrow a baby. Armitron had a huge collection of amazing watches, that are affordable and stylish, and it didn’t hurt that spokesman Noah Galloway was there for photos (he got into the theme as well).
The New Product Expo had so many amazing brands that I can’t even pick my favorites, but I’ll mention that I saw everything from in the kitchen to in the bedroom!
The Peanuts Lunch was inspiring for 2 reason, the youth who voice the characters and listening to Ginger Zee talk about life as a mom. She also reminded me that we all have our own level of craziness in life, which to me means not to compare myself to others.
Shop Ireland was a great expo that introduced me to some Irish companies. I loved the Irish Fairy Door and enjoyed all the Irish treats.
The closing party was my favorite part of the conference. Peanuts and Rock the Vote sponsored this party with a cruise around the harbor. Thankfully the rain happened before this and it was nothing but blue skies and perfect views.
One of my favorite parts about this conference is not only am I connecting with great brands, but I also get to see a lot of my friends from all over. Of course I have my NYC bloggers, but hanging out with Thank You Honey Blog, SAHM Reviews, When Tara Met Blog, and meeting others in person Baby Savers, As Mom Sees It and make this my favorite event.
