I’m having a hard time believing that in 1 week Mike and I will be homeowners. I mean are we really that grown up? I’m also having a really tough time breaking up with the NYC. I thought I was ready for this, but as the date approaches I’m getting more and more sentimental about NYC. I know I’ll still be working in the city, but I know what can happen, the trips into the city will become less frequent and start to be “special”. Nothing is wrong with that and I know once we’re settled in I’ll happily accept our new life and enjoy all of the new things open to us, but I’m having a hard time thinking about it. So in the meantime I’ll go to ballet class, hit up Juniper Valley park, visit the Union Square market, see my 1st burlesque show, and ride the L train with pride because I’m still a Brooklyn mom who loves this city.
