6 Months

6 months how is that even possible that on Sunday we celebrated Camden’s 1/2 birthday?  We took full advantage of this milestone and made a 1/2 cake (sorry it got eaten before photos) and did a little photo shoot for the fun of it.

I do want to give a little update on what Cam has been up to for the past few months.  For starters he’s growing way too fast and while I do love that’s he’s getting more and more active I hate to think that pretty soon he won’t be a baby anymore.  He’s been crawling all over the place since 5 months and is getting really good at playing hide and seek with his sister.  I’m sometimes amazed that he can find her as quickly as he does.  His smile is a constant and it’s gotten a little more radiant with the addition of 2 bottom teeth.  He’s started to eat rice cereal and loves it.  He also loves to talk and loudly.  We’re sometimes surprised by his loud screams of laughter and giggles.

He’s working on sitting up on his own, but hasn’t quite mastered that yet.  I’m surprised by his strength when he grabs a hold of things i.e. my glasses!  He really loves both the swing at home and on the playground, but watching his sister is probably his favorite activity.

Sleeping wise he’s all over the place sometimes sleeping through the night and other times (like when teething) waking up 2-3 times. He likes to sleep on his stomach, with his behind in the air and it makes me smile when he rolls over and gets into that position.  He probably weighs about 15 pounds and still fits into a lot of his 3-6 months clothes, but I can see them getting snug.  His nicknames are Cam Cam, Buddy Boy, & Cam.  He is totally a Mamma’s boy and I love that, but most of all I love the little guy he’s becoming.
