I get a lot of questions about how is Eleanor doing now that Camden has arrived and is settled into the family and this past weekend I really stood back and noticed, and what I noticed is how much they both love each other. Yeah I know, I know, it’s not always going to be this way so I want to take a moment and remember the sweetness I’ve been seeing.
Camden is totally in love with his big sister and she has a way to calm him when he’s upset. He gives her some of his best smiles and his first belly laugh was at her dancing in front of him. His favorite thing is to lay with her and reach for her face.
Eleanor finds Camden to be fun and loves the attention he gives her. She will randomly walk over to him and give him hugs and kisses and try her best to console him when he’s crying by talking with him or holding his hand.
My kids are in no way perfect, but these moments they share together make me feel like our life is right where it should be and when she’s 16 and he’s 14 I’ll look back on this post and think awww they were so sweet back then.
