I love wearing sneakers. It’s my go to shoe. Doesn’t mater if it’s Keds, or Converse I am most comfortable in a solid pair of sneaks.
I’ve been wanted some white sneakers for a while, but I wanted to do something to give them a little shine, but still feel like I could wear this anything. So I decided to do a pearly polka dot pattern.
This was so easy and quick to do, anyone can do this, perfect summer kid activity!
Step 1: Mix 2 parts paint and 1 part fabric paint together (I use cupcake liners so I can just toss them when I’m done)
Step 2: Cover the sponge
Step 3: Start dotting
Step 4: Allow to dry and see if touch ups are needed
Step 5: Rock the shiny dot sneaks!
I love that my shoes have a little shine, but don’t overpower what I’m wearing. It’s nice to be a little subtle, especially if you’re rocking a great dress or jewelry.
Are you a sneaker girl like me? If so how would you decorate yours?
