I love the holidays. Halloween is all about pumpkin patches, costumes and fall. Thanksgiving is gobble, gobble goodness and Christmas is a new world for us now that we have kids. The months of October, November and December are my favorite.
I know a lot of people hate that Christmas/holiday things are out already, but it starts to get me excited. I love to listen to Christmas carols and have already started to think about my holiday cards. Yes I said it, I am planning my holiday Cards in early October.
Why? Because I need a theme. I love looking through all the different options out there and trying to finalize what my family will do. Last year we used Merry Kissmas as the idea and I’m having a tough time deciding if I want to continue with a mistletoe theme or move on to something else. So I went on a search and started with my favorite site for all photo cards Tiny Prints.
I just love this one. It carries on the mistletoe theme and I don’t have to worry about getting my holiday decorations out. I also love that Tiny Prints allows you to add photos to the back so I can get in a few more cute photos

My next thought as I was looking through all the options was maybe I’ll use a Christmas Carol saying and then I can continue each year with different carols.
But then I saw these that allow you to add highlights of your year and that’s always a great way to keep people up to date on big and important things that have happened over the year. It’s also a way for you to reflect on some fun things that have happened.

There are so many different options out there, but I know I like to get good cards, for some people this is the only communication I have with them all year and since Tiny Prints usually has special offers I like to be ready when they have one that I can’t pass up.

So what do you think? What should we do for our theme this year?
