It seems like every year the beginning of school sneaks up on us, and while I feel like the start of school is still a little bit away I learned about a ton of awesome things at the Momtrends BTS event and am so excited to share it with you!
Lets start with lunchtime. I know both my kids get a snack and lunch and we’re people who pack. Nalgene has some awesome lunchboxes and water bottles that kids and adults of all ages can use. I love the neoprene cover on the outside and the fact that there’s a freezer pack to help keep things cool I know the kids will be happy. I am also reminded that I need to be better about packing my lunch. Not only will I eat healthier, but save money.
Speaking of food we got to catch up with Ella’s kitchen, Earth’s Best and a few other awesome brands which is making it even easier for us to pack healthy options and make healthy after school snacks. I got to taste almost everything and was surprised with how yummy it all was. From easy to pack smoothies, to real fruit cups your kids and minds will be filled with good eats.
What would a new school year be without school supplies and learning about Yoobi is helping me to look at folders, notebooks, backpacks and supplies in a different way. This year they are partnering with Pharrell Williams and the campaign is “I Am Other.” I love this idea because it teaches kids that it’s okay to stand out and do their own thing. I think if a student is carrying this around they will be reminded that being different is okay and the colors are bright and vivid. That’s not all, this company also gives back within the US which I think is another great lesson for both kids and adults to remember.
Let’s not forget how important it is to label everything, and not one else has the quality and design like Mabel’s Labels. You’ll be covered from shoes, to back packs, and water bottles. I also love the new notebook they have to help document all the years the kids are at school. I had something similar as a kid, but this one is awesome. Plus it’s always treat to chat with founder Julie Cole!
Style is also key for back to school and Joules was there to show us their fashion for kids, but I loved learning that they also carry adults too. There were so many pieces that I wanted and can’t wait find more styles. Let’s not forget about shoes and Keen Kids has stepped it up. They’re more than just hiking boots, and I can’t wait to get both kids some.
Oh and there were accessories; Chewbeads has more for kids then I realized. The necklaces are straight up cool, for boys and girls, and some of them even glow in the dark. It’s nice to know that they are durable for younger kids who constantly put things in their mouth or need a little comfort.
I love staying organized in the school year and Wall Pops has so many things you can you to keep your home in order and styled. The calendars helps for the year, but I really like the dry erase dots. I can see this as a daily task or just to make us feel happy in our home. They also do wallpaper and I feel like I need some gold and silver polka dots in my office.
Momtrends always pulls together amazing brands and knows what will be hot for the school year. Now I’m ready to shop for back to school
Disclosure: I was invited to attend this event and did receive a gift bag for attending all thoughts are my own.
