Who’s ready for holiday creativity? I’ve got a toy that not only the kids will love but so will the adults, the and we’re using it make personalized wrapping paper and cards.

I first saw this toy back in February at Toy Fair, and knew it was going to be something both the kids and I would want. It’s so cool and functional and you’ll find yourself pulling it out for all kinds of projects. The idea is simple. You take most Crayola broadline markers (Washable, PipSqueaks, Window, Fabric) and put it in the nozzle, turn on the machine, it plugs into the wall, and create. The air pressure sprays the marker out and you get to work on your projects and have fun.

There are so many different things you can make with this. For us we’ve been using it to make birthday cards. I cut out a happy birthday stencil and have the kids spray around it, with whatever color they want, and when they remove it, they think it’s the best masterpiece ever.

I’m also very excited to use it for personalized wrapping paper this holiday. I love that the kids can make a gift even more personal just by taking the air marker sprayer and their favorite markers.

Personalized Wrapping Paper Supplies Needed:

• Washable Crayola Markers or Pipsqueaks
• Craft Paper or Brown Paper Bags

Now the toy does come with its own stencils, the dragon and sun are the kids favorites, I’ve also used my Cricut to cut out a few extra holiday things. You can also go freehand, and this is where you kids can really have fun. I do recommend that you do this on a table that you can easily wipe down and sometimes it takes a little bit for the marker to work. I also want to mention that you should watch the tube, don’t let it get knotted or twisted because it won’t work.

What’s great is it doesn’t take long at all and the kids really love that they can make something so personal and cool. I know we’ve even had a few play dates where they ask if they can make a card with their friend with the air marker sprayer and I’m happy to set it up and let them get to work.
