It’s Popcorn Box Party time and I’m sharing my Monster Pop along with some other amazing bloggers awesome creations and there’s even an awesome giveaway!
Okay, let me explain. What’s the popcorn box party? Well Laura from Laura Kelly Designs pulls together about 75 bloggers and gives us a popcorn box from World Market. Once we have our box we’re able to create whatever we want, silly, fun, spooky, cute, candy holders, popcorn. Whatever we can imagine!
I decided to make a one-eyed monster popcorn box. I like playful and cute for Halloween and of course snuggling up on the couch with my kids.
Supplies Needed:
World Market Popcorn box
Wrapping paper
Tape
Styrofoam ball (I cut mine in half)
Paint
Pipe-cleaner
Exact o knife
Craft Foam
Step 1: Cover the popcorn box with your wrapping paper
Step 2: Cut out of the mouth of the monster with the exact o knife
Step 3: Paint your eye
Step 4: Cut a pipe-cleaner in half and curl around your finger for fun ears and tape them in the box
Step 5: Use craft foam to cut out the tongue and tape it on the mouth
Step 6: Once your eye is dry; hot glue it to the box
Step 7: Fill with popcorn and enjoy.
My kids think this is just the cutest thing and I can’t wait to make a few more. Speaking of more make sure you check out some of the other bloggers who did such a great job with their boxes. Oh and don’t forget to enter the giveaway!
