When it comes to a sweet finish after dinner or a wonderful evening among friends nothing beats a nice glass of Raspberry Cordial (for ages 21 and up of course). I’ve got an easy recipe you’ll enjoy and want to give to friends!

Raspberry CordialIt’s an ago old recipe that isn’t made quickly, but over time and comes out tasty sweet and special. I was reminded of this drink from a co-worker and immediately got the ingredients to make a batch for the holidays.

Raspberry Cordial SuppliesSupplies Needed:
1-2 64 ounce jars (I got mine on Amazon) Affiliate
2 quarts of raspberries
2 cups of sugar
Whisky

How to make Raspberry CordialStep 1: Add 2 quarts of raspberries to a 64 ounce jar
Step 2: Pour in 2 cups of sugar
Step 3: Add the whisky (fill it to the top)
Step 4: Put the lid on the jar and shake
Step 5: Flip the jar daily till the sugar dissolves
Step 6: Keep in a cool/dark place and allow to sit for 3 months (yep it takes a while)
Step 7: At 3 months taste it. If it needs more sugar add some and let sit for another month
Step 8: When it’s ready strain the raspberries
Step 9: Put it in a bottle and enjoy!

Raspberry Cordial (ages 21 and up!)

I’m also giving this as hostess gifts this year, and putting them in the smaller bottles with some tags (don’t forget to mention it’s for ages 21 and up). I think it will be a really fun gift and something no one else will show up with!

I love that you also only need a small glass to enjoy this treat and that it’s so sweet and wonderful. I’m personally not a whisky drinker, but this has the right amount of kick and sweet. So don’t wait, make sure you get a batch started soon, this way you’ll be able to to enjoy it for the winter holidays!
