I’ve been having some mixed emotions about our next adventure (buying the house) and I keep thinking about the move.  As I look around our apartment which has been our home for the past 4 years I have so many big memories.

    • This was our 1st apartment for just us.  We had a roommate when we first got married and I moved into the apartment Mike had been living in previously.  So this was our place.
    • I found out I was pregnant here with both kids
    • We hosted our 1st big family meal here and managed to fit 11 people for Thanksgiving dinner and have 8 people stay overnight for multiple days.
    • This is the home I brought both our babies to after they left the hospital

We had so many laughs, tears, fights, cuddles, and memories in this apartment it’s hard to think of living anywhere else, but then I remind myself of not having to climb 2 flights of stairs, or that I can take a bath, or that the kids would be able to play in the backyard while I sit at the table, and that I can have a table out at all times, and I start to become okay with the decision to leave.

But Brooklyn is where our story begins and this apartment is a chapter that I will look back on and think of some great memories and moments.
