I’m not one to complain.  Or at least I try not to, but we are having some major sleep problems with both kids and it’s gotten to a point where I have to talk about it.

Camden wakes up 3 times every night (2am, 4am & 6am) and I’m not counting the midnight wake up since I’m usually awake for that one.  Mike has been a savior waking up and getting him to go back to bed for one of these by patting his back and turning on sleep sheep, but I’m still having to nurse him for 2 of these wake ups.

What makes all of this worse is that Eleanor is waking up in the middle of the night and wanting someone to lay with her.  We also have the problem that she’s crying so she will sometimes wake Camden up.  We try to keep her out of our bed, we don’t want to go down that road, but is sleeping in her bed any better?

She is also an early riser which after being up multiple times at night is not something we enjoy.  We’re trying to get her to wait to 7am before she comes in to wake us but some mornings she’s standing by the bed at 6am asking for milk.

I know this is something we just have to work through, but I could really use a full night of sleep, it’s been almost a year.

Fingers crossed by writing this post that Camden and Eleanor both sleep through the night tonight! A Mom can dream right?
