There’s nothing better then making a family recipe and I decided that I would share one of my favorites. Grandma K’s Chocolate No-Bake Cookies.
It’s something that I can easily make and I always have the ingredients in my pantry so without further ado let’s get started.
Step 1: Pour quick cook oats in a mixing bowl
Step 2: In a pot combine butter, sugar, cocoa and milk in a sauce pan on med-low heat for 2 minutes
Step 3: Add in peanut butter and vanilla
Step 4: Pour the chocolate sauce over the quick cook oats and sir
Step 5: Once mixed together take a spoon and drop them onto wax paper
Step 6: Let cool in either the fridge or on the counter
Step 7: Enjoy
I personally like to make small drops so I can keep portion control in affect, that doesn’t stop me from eating 2, but it’s also better for a special treat for the kids. I also like to keep mine in the fridge.
These cookies are quick and easy and remind me of family, so to me they will always be the best!!
