This year I wanted to take some time to get to know the teachers, but it’s hard when there are so many other parents and students around that I decided I would pull together a quick little getting to know you teacher questionnaire.

There’s a lot of 1st day of school pictures going around with adorable kids holding up signs, and wearing some impressive outfits. It’s a big deal for parents, kids, and teachers, and since I want to get to know who will be molding and teaching my kids I think it’s important to take the time to get to know them.

I’ll send in this sheet in an envelope with the teachers name asking them to return it to my child. There’s a lot of paperwork in the beginning so I want to make this as easy for them as possible and I want them to know we care about what they like. I’ve also started to include a some fun Crayola markers or pens for the teacher because who doesn’t love some Crayola Take Note pens? 

Teacher Questionnaire

Helping to know what the teacher likes and prefers helps me to know what little things I can do to make them smile or give them holiday or teacher appreciation gifts. I also love when I get a note from teacher saying “This is so thoughtful” or “What a fun idea” This is also great for class coordinators, or parents to be able to help out other parents in ideas for the teachers.
