NJ Lottery DIY Scratch-off Centerpiece

Fun at the holidays isn’t just for kids. It’s become a bit of a tradition for the adults to have some fun with NJ Lottery Holiday scratch off tickets and this year I decided to make them into a DIY Scratch Off Centerpiece for the table. I’ve also got a DIY Scratch Off Sleigh that’s easy and fun!

NJ Lottery must be 18 to playI’m going to remind you that you must be 18 or older to buy a lottery ticket. The New Jersey Lottery reminds players, it’s only a game…remember to play responsibly. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1800-GAMBLER®.

Lottery Ticket Gift Idea

Picking up NJ Lottery Holiday scratch off tickets is quick and easy, I like to stop by my local 7-11, QuickChek or Wawa and this year the holiday scratch offs are so much fun. I love the themes ($1 Holiday Sparkle, $2 Holiday Luck Times 10, $5 Holiday Spectacular, and $10 $10,000 Bonus). These make great stocking stuffers, sweet hostess gifts, teacher, bus driver, or crossing guard gift, or if you play a fun holiday game with adults they can bring an element of surprise; you never know who could be a big winner.

NJ Lottery Gingerbread House DIY

Lottery Ticket Centerpiece

I decided to make a DIY Scratch Off centerpiece out of holiday tickets. It’s going to replace making a gingerbread house and takes a lot less time to create. Plus they are so festive and fun I know everyone will be waiting till it’s time to start scratching!

How to make A Lottery Ticket Gingerbread house

1: Take 4 cards to make the bottom base and tape them together on the inside (I used the $5 Holiday Spectacular)
2: Use 8 cards for the roof and tape them together and then to the base. (I used the $1 Holiday Sparkle)
3: I filled in the front and back of the roof by taping in a card on each side. I found this was easiest to add by flipping the base upside down. (I used the $2 Holiday Luck Times 10)
4: I added some pennies on the front for the door and so no one has to dig around to find something to scratch off and see if they won
5: Finish off with some cookies

I love how this turned out and I also decided to keep a $10 $10,000 Bonus hidden on the bottom of the tray so this way one person will get an extra special treat. I think it’s exciting to be able to gift my guests this experience and I can also see myself making a few of these for gifts.

I’ll put this out on for Christmas Eve as we sit around the table after dinner talking, scratching on NJ Lottery tickets and laughing. Making memories together and who knows maybe someone could be a big winner, and even if we don’t win we still have a chance with the Million Dollar Replay. Where you submit your ticket into a yearly drawing for million dollars on the NJ Lottery site.
