Candy, hearts and delicious treats. Valentine’s Day must be coming and of course I needed to make a Valentine Charcuterie board to go along with the month of love.

I’ve become such a fan of holiday charcuterie boards. I’ve got my Halloween Charcuterie and Christmas Charcuterie and a few others coming that you won’t want to miss. There’s just something fun about pulling together treats we may not have with treats that are our favorites.

Valentine’s Charcuterie Board Ideas

To start I’ve found having a big round charcuterie board is key, but you can use any kind of cutting board or platter you have on hand. Just make sure it’s a good large size. For the food I like to shop at both the Dollar Tree and a supermarket. What I enjoy most about the Dollar Tree is I’m able to buy smaller packaging of things, and this helps so I’m not stuck with tons of leftovers and opened bags of food. Also at $1 an item we can try new things we maybe haven’t had before. I also hate wasting food and unless I’m making multiple boards find this is the best way to go about it.

Valentine’s Candy Charcuterie Board

With Valentine’s day I wanted a pink and red color scheme to help show the love. We found some Litzer cookies, strawberry wafers, red candies, conversation hearts, and pulled out some heart cookie cutters to help separate the items. You could also add some marshmallows, white powered donuts, and whatever your heart desires.

What is a Charcuterie Board?

Usually they consist of meats and cheeses, and believe me that’s one of my favorite things to enjoy, but it can also allows for craft and food to come together to make a little more DIY fun. There’s no recipe to share, but there’s creative outlet, and that’s what I love about pulling together these boards. A creative way to enjoy food, treats or whatever I want to put on the charcuterie board.

I love that this board is good for date night, Galentine’s, movie night, or surprise fun for the family. It’s pretty quick to pull together and you’ll be snacking away while reading those homemade valentines from your loves and friends!
