The weather is getting cooler. The idea of snow is in the air and a cup of hot chocolate is always a special treat. I like to add a little something to make it even more fun so I make Rum Chata Hot Chocolate.
Please note this is a hot chocolate drink for ages 21+ and to drink responsibly.
I only discovered Rum Chata last year where it inspired my Pumpkin Pie cocktail, and then we started to add it to our hot cocoa keeping us toasty warm through the winter.
How to make Rum Chata Hot Cocoa
What makes this great is it doesn’t matter if your opening a hot chocolate mix packet or making it from scratch, adding 1 ounces of Rum Chata will give your drink a creamy taste. Top it off with some whipped cream and chocolate shavings and you just made a hot cocoa that will impress yourself or a guest.
This isn’t a difficult drink to make, and I personally buy my hot cocoa mix, no shame in making a quick drink, but it really makes such a different just by adding a little of this Rum Chata.
