There’s something special that all Disney Cruises do and it’s called Pirate Night. This is a chance for the whole family to dress up with a pirate theme and I’m sharing our Disney Cruise Pirate Night shirts and a FREE PNG so you can make on too with a Cricut!

Disney Cruise Pirate Night
A Disney Cruise Pirate night is so much fun. Of course we could have worn pirate costumes, because some people did and they looked totally amazing, but since we were limited on suitcase space I wanted to make a shirt we could easily wear again. We are totally a Captain Hook family, and sadly my little guy doesn’t fit in his Captain Hook costume anymore, so I wanted to make something that represented our favorite pirate.

1: I created an FREE PNG for my design. Which you can download in 2 parts, A Pirates Life for me and/or Disney Pirate Hook!
2. Upload the image into Cricut design space
3. Cut the design placing the vinyl face side down on the mat. Don’t forget to select mirror image!
4. Iron on to your shirt using the EasyPress 2, and don’t forget to print these EasyPress 2 Settings!
Once you’ve made your shirt it’s smooth sailing from there. They will give you pirate bandannas on the cruise and we all enjoyed wearing ours. I also made some pirate sashs to wear around our waist with some fabric I had on hand. Making it a super easy to complete the look, but not necessary.
Pirate Night on a Disney Cruise
Make sure you take advantage of all the characters in their pirate gear and don’t forget the show on the deck. The best thing is watching pirate Mickey and ending with the fireworks at sea. Disney is the only cruise that does fireworks at sea and you’ll want to get there early because the deck fills up!
Do you have to dress up for pirate night on a Disney Cruise?
It’s not mandatory. What’s great about pirate night on a Disney Cruise is its what you make of it. You can go all out or choose to not do anything and just enjoy watching everyone else.
