I always love to come up with a new Disney shirt for each of our trips. For our recent Disney Cruise I wanted to show some Disney Love, and came up with 2 ways to show some love using my Cricut for this Disney LOVE shirts.
When I think of Disney I think of Mickey, and how he can also represent the letter O in love. When I think of a cruise I think of an anchor and when I was working on our Disney Cruise Family shirts I realized the anchor can be like the letter V. Add in an L and E and I’ve got some Disney LOVE. I couldn’t decide if I like the letters straight across in in a square so I decided to make both versions and LOVE them both equally!
- Shirt (3/4 sleeve, tank top or tshirt)
- Iron On Glitter Vinyl (black)
- Iron On Foil Vinyl (red, gold)
- Cricut Easy Press
Step 1: I opened Cricut Design Space to create. I added Text of the L and another text box for the E
Step 2: In the Disney Mickey Font I found my Mickey shape and the anchor (which I added the ears to)
Step 3: Once I have my design set and sized I cut out using 3 different iron on vinyls
Step 4: Remember to select mirror image with cutting
Step 5: Once it’s all cut and weeded place it on the shirt where you would like it.
Step 6: Use your Cricut Easypress (or an iron) to iron on.
Overall I love how these designs turned out. It was a quick and easy project and we can be matching, yet different. I wore mine to a photo meet and greet with Mickey and friends on the ship and Belle said she loved my shirt so I was pretty smitten and excited for the rest of the day, but then at dinner I had multiple cast members compliment me and say they hadn’t seen a shirt like this before and they loved it as well.
Do you have a Disney trip or cruise planned for the future?
