If there’s one thing that’s certain is Disney means sunny days and lots of time spent outside. On my last trip I wanted to make some DIY Disney Sunglasses that would show my Disney love.
While I spend a majority of the time wearing glasses I always make a point to bring contacts so I can wear sunglasses at the parks. The sun shining and lots of of photos means everyone in the family is wearing sunglasses.
DIY Disney Sunglasses
Supplies are simple
Sunglasses (I love these retro ones because they have space to add designs)
Vinyl
Transfer Tape
Cricut
How to personalize sunglasses
The first thing is coming up with the design you want to use. Since you’re working with a small area you’ll need to keep it simple. I wanted to honor the mouse, and decided to put a small Mickey on the corners and then best day ever on the side. Because any day at Disney is the best day ever!
I used Cricut Design Space and you can find the design here: DIY Disney Sunglasses.
Once you cut and weed the vinyl you’ll want to use the transfer tape to easily add the heads and words. Since you’re working with small pieces don’t get frustrated it will turn out great.
After you’ve added the vinyl if you want to ensure it won’t move or peel off you can add a little modge podge.
Disney Sunglasses
What’s great about these sunglasses is it’s a quick and fun project that protects your eyes and keeps you smiling all day in the park.
Are sunglasses a necessity at the parks for you?
